講座の内容
This advanced online course develops confidence, fluency, and flexibility in spoken English through real-world topics. Each week, you will take part in guided discussions, problem-solving tasks, and small-group activities. The course focuses on expressing complex ideas clearly, responding spontaneously, and communicating effectively in professional and social situations.
講座の進め方・到達目標
Classes begin with a short poll warm-up that introduces the weekly topic and activates useful language. The main part of each lesson includes guided discussion, role-play, problem-solving, debate, storytelling, or simulation tasks in pairs and small groups. You will practice explaining complex ideas, supporting opinions, responding spontaneously, and adapting your language to different listeners and situations. Regular feedback and reflection will help you recognise your strengths and identify areas for improvement.
The course aims to develop the confidence, fluency, flexibility, and interaction skills needed for advanced communication in professional and social settings. Particular attention will be given to active listening, tactful disagreement, persuasive speaking, cultural awareness, and clear responses to challenging questions.
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
• speak clearly and fluently about abstract, complex, and professional topics;
• develop and support ideas with relevant reasons and examples;
• respond spontaneously and ask effective follow-up questions;
• adapt your tone and language to different purposes and audiences;
• disagree, negotiate, and give feedback diplomatically;
• lead and contribute effectively to discussions, simulations, and panel activities.
