Welcome to Advanced Speaking Skills, a 12-week online course designed to boost confidence and the ability to communicate effectively in English. Through discussions, debates, and mini-presentations, students will explore topics such as global trends, cultural perspectives, and the future of technology.
You will develop persuasive speaking techniques, storytelling skills, and strategies for engaging in thoughtful conversations. By the end of the course, you will more confidently articulate ideas, respond to diverse opinions, and present clear information to others. This course will enable you to better engage in personal and professional communication.
講座の進め方・到達目標
The course is designed to improve your speaking skills through interactive and thought-provoking activities. Each session will focus on a specific theme, such as global trends, cultural perspectives, or controversial issues, providing background for in-depth discussions and practice.
Classes will begin with warm-up activities to introduce the topic. Guided discussions, debates, and role-playing exercises will form the core of each session, allowing you to practice expressing ideas clearly, build persuasive arguments, and respond to differing opinions. You will also participate in pair and group activities to increase your ability to think critically and speak spontaneously.
The primary goal of the course is to build your confidence and fluency in English, equipping you with the tools to articulate ideas effectively and navigate complex conversations. By focusing on persuasive speaking and active listening, you will increase your ability to communicate clearly.
Additionally, the course aims to develop your critical thinking, cultural awareness, and ability to respond diplomatically to those with different viewpoints. By the end of the course, you will feel more comfortable expressing yourself in diverse settings, from professional meetings to social discussions.
